From No Leads to a 5.6x ROI In 7 Days

Make these 3 offer changes to create a scalable offer.

Recently a client came into Sales Team Accelerator with a new offer they started running a few months ago.

They spent a few hundred on ads but didn’t get a single good lead.

While that’s not a lot of ad spend - NO leads after even spending $100 is proof something is wrong.

So they got on a call with me.

Within 5 seconds I could see why this offer would never work.

There’s a 3-step “checklist” we run all our offers and our client’s offers through to make sure the offer is actually going to be good.

1. Does it solve ONE specific problem

2. For ONE specific audience

3. Using ONE specific process.

This offer had none of these.

It essentially was “we’ll help you land your dream job…guaranteed”

Now, on the outside that sounds great right.

People want their dream job right?

But let’s break down the 3 “checklist” items we need to have a great offer.

Does “getting your dream job” solve a problem?

NO.

Cause the next question on their mind is “ANY job?!”

What if someone seeing the ads wants to be Taylor Swift’s personal assistant?

Or what if they want to become a rapper? Lol

Nobody can take that kind of offer seriously.

Also, it’s clear why this doesn’t pass the “ONE specific audience test”

“Anyone wanting their dream job” is not a specific audience.

Now they kinda had a specific process…

Which was basically helping people optimize their resume, their LinkedIn, interviewing skills, etc.

Okay… now we are getting somewhere.

So we got 1ish out of the 3.

The next part was finding out what industries they’ve had the most success with helping people land jobs in - which is graphic design.

When they told me this I knew exactly what to offer.

Specific Person: College graphic design majors

Now for Specific Problem, I did some research with them and found that there are 100,000s of thousands of graphic designing students in the US right now.

And the job growth for graphic designers is declining.
Because of Ai and some other factors.

So the Specific Problem: Not enough job openings for graphic designers leading to a lot of competition.

And for Specific Process: basically the same as they had before but based around graphic design.

That this offer passed the 3 “checklists” needed for a good offer…

…it was time to create a few ad hooks.

So we fired up good ol’ ChatGPT.

We found that the number of job openings was only 16k in the US right now for designers  - with very few being 100k a year or more.

And that there are over 200k+ graphic design students.

Giving them around a 1% chance of landing a role that will also pay them what they are hoping for out of college.

We wrote out the ad and a few variations of that together.

Next was launching the ads.

Within a week of launching the ads they spent 1,500 and closed 9,900 in deals.

So around 500 cost per acquisition.

MASSIVE difference from zero leads.

That’s why whenever someone tells me their ads don’t work… 9/10 times their offer sucks.

The other 1/10 is usually bad creative.

(but that’s another talk for another time)

So if you’re wanting to run ads for your offer or you’re struggling to sell your offer at scale… run your offer through the 3 checklist test.

And since you are one of the first 500 people to be on my newsletter list, I want to do something to thank you…

I’ll review your offer if you…

1. Follow me on X (Twitter)

2. Send me a DM on X with the word “EMAIL”

That’s it.

From there you can send me your offer and I’ll take a look at it to see what tweaks can be made to make sure it’s a winning one.

Hope this helps ✌️
