2x Your Sales Calls From Email Using These 2 Automations
Use these 2 automations to get more calls from your list.
One thing I love about email is that it’s part psychology (the copy) and part tech (automations)
If you use BOTH well, then you can easily start to see more sales calls on your calendar.
Automation 1: Active Lead Automation
One of the best ways you can use your email list is more than likely not being utilized right now.
And that is simply by showing who your active leads.
Inside your CRM you can setup an automation that shows when people have clicked on a link or opened an email.
(I like the link clicks because that's much more of a accurate compared to tracking opens because of good ol' iOS 15.)
Here's what this does for your sales team:
Most people who click a link to book a call aren't going to actually book right then and there.
So there's 2 ways you can follow up with them to get them on your calendar.
1. You can setup a trigger automation that sends them an email after they click the link but then didn't book.
I usually wait 30 mins after they click to send that automation.
I call this the "abandon calendar" trigger.
I use these emails to handle specific call booking objections like
"what the hell are we gonna talk about on this cal!?
Option 2...
Setup a smart list inside your CRM to track the email clickers so that your sales team has a fresh set of warm leads to hit up every day (assuming your emailing regularly)
It's really that simple.
And this alone I've seen be worth it to start to sending emails to your list.
It's a great way to have X-Ray vision on who's warm but just needs a little more push to get on the calendar.
Automation 2: Authority Jacking Trigger
I learned this one from Ian Stanley a few years ago. I used it one of my clients offers and it absolutely CRUSHED.
This client of mine sells a coaching program helping people learn to trade sports cards for profit.
Who talks about sports cards all the time? Gary Vaynerchuck.
So what I did with this email was sent an email to their list with a Youtube video of Gary talking about how big of an opportunity it is to trade sports cards.
Then, 10 minutes later we sent another email that only sent if they clicked on the YouTube link.
This email thanked them for checking out the video, and then did a direct offer explaining how he can help them start a sports card trading business with a few testimonials.
The 2nd email has a crazy high open rate since it’s only getting delivered to someone who was just actively in their email and clicked a link that contained value from us making them a very warm and engaged lead.
Not only that but we are using the cognitive bias of appealing to authority by using Gary Vee to generate curiosity and desire.
Use these 2 automations this week and let me know how it goes 🙂
Also, if you have questions you have about ads, emails, messaging or marketing in general, feel free to reply back with your questions.
See you next week!
